Several weeks ago, we told you that we were hearing from some of our sources in England that the IAS gala was going to be held there after an absence of four years. Yesterday, Alexander Barnes-Ross reported that he had obtained a flier promoting that very thing, suggesting that the 2023 IAS gala will be held at Saint Hill, Scientology's UK headquarters in East Grinstead, over the weekend of November 3-5.
I agree with Mike. My reasons. Miscavige has to present an image of growth and stability and he needs more donations both huge and small to cover legal fees. The event being videod and/or televised live will create a buzz within the community and there has not been much buzz lately. And Davey will be there to reassure the big donors that “the attacks on Scientology are a sure sign that the church is growing and making a difference”. Also this IAS at St. Hill gives all the European and English whales and minions an opportunity to show up with minimum travel hassles. The triumph return of Tom Thumb Miscavige will be heralded world wide and the IAS registrars will be out in numbers. Hip hip hurray.
