Congratulations to Katie… an unsung hero.

Katie saw the writing on the wall, saw the red flags, and did not ignore them. She saved herself and her daughter Suri a world of hurt and heartache.

“There’s L R Hubbard.

“There’s David Miscavige.

“And then there’s me.”

Yup. He’s “… a huge piece of shit.”

He fits nicely in the group of other pieces of shit.

"And also, he’s a huge piece of shit..." don't hold back Tony, tell us what you really think. Suri has long dealt with her father's abandonment and seems to a reasonably well adjusted young woman. Let her have her life out of the gossip pages and deal with life on her terms.

But Tony, you couldn't be more right in your characterization of TC.

Well said Zee Moo…And noting Dave Touretzky? Well played TonyO. Tom should live a long life to ultimately and deeply regret those decisions under his own control.

It’s wonderful to see Suri living a normal(ish) life. Being Tom Cruise’s daughter, even had he defected from Scientology, would have been a rough go. That’s a huge ego to block the sun.

If given the choice of being in a VIP tent in a place where there were 89,000 people, no matter what the occasion, or being with a family member for a milestone, I’d pick milestones any day of the week.

By being the “most important Scientology celebrity,” Cruise has done something Hubbard didn’t want to happen; he has made being a Scientology celebrity look unpalatable. Why? Because they would not be the top dog. That position is already cemented. In the dog eat dog celebrity world, knowing you can never be the president of an exclusive club is reason enough to not join.

I don't know if you chose the number 89,000 at random, but I believe that's about the highest number of members that have ever been involved in Scientology. I think that was the number of members when Scientology was at its peak which I believe was in the mid 80s. According to Aaron Smith Levin and I would agree, the number now is likely around 20 thousand.

I understand Tom Cruise as I had that mind set years before Tom Cruise got into Scientology. Here is an important fact. Scientology encourages narcissism. It feeds that personality trait. Nothing is more important than Tom’s path to immortality. It overrides his love and caring for anyone else except the persons helping achieve his immortality.

After all Suri is a tiny blip on Tom’s timetrack. I think calling Tom a “huge piece of …….” Still has some connection to humanity, so it’s euphemistic. Much more horrible IMO is that Tom Cruise is an “inhuman, brainwashed borg(robot)” And that puts him well below “a huge piece shit” in my book.

I hope some day Cruise wakes up and realizes he has been living a lie. It’s never to late to change.

Congratulations to Suri on her graduation. Hope she lives her best life in college. It’s so great that you aren’t afraid to say it .. TC is a huge piece of shit 👏.

Tom Cruise has succeeded as a talented actor but generally failed as a human being. Deep down inside he has to realize what a despicable conman LRH was and how equally despicable David Miscavige is. He should realize that any type of therapy or counselling should never cost anyone tens of thousands of dollars as Scientology members have to pay. He should realize that staff members of any church should never have to work 7 days a week for little or no pay. He must be aware of the verbal and physical abuse that occurs on a regular basis in this cult officially known as the 'Church' of Scientology. I truly believe that he turns a blind eye to all of this, because he loves all the attention and adulation he receives from Scientologists, being the narcissist that he is.

In addition to everything in the article, I always suspected that Katie had something put in the divorce that stated that Tom could not see Suri. Tom might have an ego the size of Canada but I don't believe he would abandon his daughter if only for the fact that it looks so bad. Tom is all about how things look, that is how he makes his money, being supposedly wholesome. He doesn't beat women up in elevators or start multiple relationships at the same time (that we know of). I think Katie, maybe with the help of her dad and certainly with the help of her attorney had something written into the divorce that prevented the two from having a relationship. I believe she thought the presence of Tom in her daughter's life was potentially more harmful than the absence. This is just my opinion.

The divorce settlement included generous visitation rights for him, and at least initially he took advantage of it to see her. So no, Katie did not cut him out in the divorce settlement.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought I remembered that being the case, but my aged brain can’t always be trusted.
