Over the years, on the occasion of Scientology leader David Miscavige’s birthday, we have sought input from some of the people who worked for him, and it’s always a fun time.
This was written by Scientologist Nicky Baker. As a writer myself I assumed he or she was a writer. And sure enough she credits herself as a writer for TV and film. The fact that she is clueless regarding the leader of the Scientology organization speaks volumes about what brainwashing can do to a person.
At the end of her fluffy propaganda piece about a David Miscavige she calls him a mensch. The definition of a mensch is: a person of integrity and honor.
So let’s see if Miscavige fits that definition.
- His accomplishments include:
- Physical abuse of staff members
- Verbal abuse of all his staff
- Lying continuously regarding Scientology’s impact on helping making the world a better place
- Living like a king while his staff live in squalor
- Spending millions to destroy those who seek to destroy expose Scientology’s human rights abuses and fraud.
- Responsible for supervising the therapy of Lisa McPherson resulting in her needless death.
Those a few of David’s stellar accomplishments.
You tell me Nicky, is Miscavige a “mensch” and the coolest person on earth?
"He had a nasty reputation as a cuel dude. They said he was ruthless. They said he was crude." Thank you, Eagles, just left out that stray "r".
I guess taking three-wheeler expeditions and scuba diving with Tom Cruise, while your crew slaves 24-7 for a week to put on a birthday-party-of-the-century for him, makes you automatically cool as film stars. Or just venal, if you consider that the crew would have been actually paid well for it if they weren't slaves.
Cool is as cool does. Fast bikes and Aviators make you LOOK cool, but borrowing Tom Cruises' private jet so you can shtup your secretary for a whole nine-hour flight to the UK truly IS cuel. Or horrific. Often the two modifiers are found in close proximity. Like P Diddy or DJ Donkey Punch.
I have met Dave many times. He is definitely cuel with an r. How else could he banish his wife and go on wearing the ring while fishing in fresher waters? Got to be cuel to be that kind. (Thanks Nick Lowe)
Judging from Nicky’s IMDb my guess is that she joined Scientology in 2018 As that is when her career stalled. Perhaps she is being groomed to be the next Dan Sherman. The article reads like someone who read a PR pack from the man’s agent then spent 3 minutes in the room with him. Anyone can be on their best behavior for 3 minutes.
I can’t believe they are still calling it the fastest growing religion in the world. I wonder, does he really believe the drivel that he spouts? According to the tech, you are able to converse successfully with anyone on any subject, so why is he so afraid that he hid out in order to avoid service to appear in court and answer to the charges against him? He is also supposed to be the most ethical person in the world, yet he continues to bilk his followers for millions of dollars to support his campaign of stalking, harassing and attempting to destroy anyone who has anything negative to say about him or the organization? Again, Why not just confront and shatter their negative statements? Oh wait, it’s because they are TRUE! My birthday wish for the captain of the fake navy is that he lives long enough to answer all of the charges and gets to experience prison, as he has imposed upon so many.
The so called 'religion' of Scientology sure isn't growing here in Toronto. When I was involved in Scientology back in the 80's, the local org was located on Yonge St, the main street in downtown Toronto. They were in an 8- story office building. The building closed in 2013 supposedly for renovations and has been sitting empty and boarded up since. The Church of Scientology of Toronto is now in a smaller building in a much more remote area of the city with very little foot traffic. Even during its peak which I believe was in the mid 80's, I would estimate that the number of active members in Toronto was at most about 200. Two hundred in a city of close to 3 million. It will be a great day when Scientology finally fades away into the dust bin of history.
I am surprised there aren't a lot of these popping up for his birthday. That timing would make it seem less suspicious if Riffer tried to use them in court as character reference/examples as to why DM couldn't possibly be the person all the plaintiffs are making him out to be.
I wonder if Nicky Baker actually wrote the tribute or if Miscavige himself was the ghost writer. According to many former Scientology members who knew Miscavige, he's a violent bully.
I think Tom Cruise's PR people wrote that. I love how Lron 'passed the torch' to Miscavige. No mention of the 'real' Loyal Officers and all the others who were purged. What's next, the Dwarfenfüjrer bringing down the golden plates from that hole in the desert where Lron buried them 1 trillion years ago?

Nicky Baker-- probably a made up nobody.
My theory is they trained an AI with the Danny Sherman oeuvre so they can spout Sherman-speak in perpetuity.

Nope written writer Nicky Baker.
