Another year another J&D fest. There is no reason to change a thing they are doing, scientology is doing itself in.

Where ever you are, the Stupor Bowl commercials are sometimes more relevant than the game. I wonder how many crypto commercials there will be this year? At least we may get more $cieno jokes via the internet and it does raise awareness that the Clampire is still around. In most markets where the commercial will be shown, the locals know enough about the MO of $cientology to avoid it. Thank you all who have spread true $cientology knowledge. You have forewarned the Earth.

Nine years of (selected local market) Super Bowl ads, and no one has learned anything about Scientology from them.

Forgive me for being a stickler, but as I understood it, Scientology is there to make the able more able. This (clearly expensive) TV spot is directed at the down-and-out (aka: not so able) who probably don't have much cash on hand. But hey: at least Dave thinks it's cool, eh?

Normally, when Tony posts a Scientology video, I try to identify the people in it using facial recognition software. However, this time, they have FOILED my attempts by having everyone either (a) in profile or (b) in semidarkness, which messes up the results. So whoever these actors/models are (I'm sure they're not actual Scientologists), they can stay anonymous. Hmph.

I also have to (reluctantly) give props to Scientology for having someone on 24/7 YouTube duty zapping any negative comments, and you KNOW there have to be some. Instead we get stuff like "I am in tears watching this again and again! Yes I did live again and you can do it too!" and "Are you coming out with an album cause the music is just stellar?!!"

The new ad starts with “if you think all is lost........”. What happened to Hubbards catch phrase “we are making the able more able”? And if you go back to the 2013 ad that’s what the message is. So WTF, now Davey is making the statement; Scientology will treat your depression. Normally the people depicted in the new commercial would be labeled “Potential Trouble Source” and not allowed to do courses or auditing until they did a complete ethics program. Or they would be shown the door. This new ad shows just how hypocritical and insane has become. How many of us descended into depression because we refused to see the lies of Hubbard and his organization. Each year Miscavige puts another nail in his coffin. Good work COB.

You and I focused on the same thing, and I hadn't read your comment before I'd written mine. What a bizarre state of affairs Miscavige has created.

Like minds. Yes, he and his sycophants are incapable of seeing their contradictions.
