Best wishes for Mark Bunker in his campaign. He is for the citizens of Clearwater, the criminal organisation known as the “church” of $cientology is against.

Ah yes, the memories. Standing up to salute the photo of LRH with not one but three hip hip hoorays. Good times.

Sort of like when we go to McDonalds and stand up to cheer to the photo of Ray Croc after our meal. Or at Wendy’s when we salute the sign of Dave Thomas’ adopted daughter.

Oh wait, we don’t do that. Well, those salutes would have just as much meaning as three cheers to LRH.

Now I need to know when and how that got started and even more importantly why it continued. Does anyone have any idea?

"We wonder how many people actually get through all ten volumes, because we were pretty astounded by what we found in the ninth volume in the series" -- good heavens, our proprietor has done some pretty extreme things for the sake of the Bunker, but this...?!?!

Idea: Instead of buying and building big orgs, CoS could buy closed down movie theaters and play Battlefield Earth on repeat. You do that over enough square footage you can guarantee the planet is "clear" (literally) and for a much cheaper cost.

I wonder what sparked Lron's imagination? After he moved to Creston, his Bluebird motor home was parked next to a horse barn. The fumes might have addled his brain. Yeah, that's the ticket, horse sh*t fumes addled his brain. Did Lron have any grandchildren in the '80's? I would have feared for them if they every got near 'grandpa'.

Maybe it was his wives? In Creston, he didn’t get to take a fourth wife while MSH was serving prison time for him, he was too infamous by then to be a self-professed lothario.

I find it hard to imagine now that I celebrated Ron’s birthday with enthusiasm. It is like creating a huge banner every year for Stalin or Hitlers birthday and dancing in the streets. The comparison is not that far fetched. Hubbard was a master of spiritual genocide.

I would love to hear a Scientologist reaction to this one.

In regards to the word “passionate,” I don't think it is ”bullshit” to say that a person only uses this word or any word in only one of its meanings. I use the word passionate in both of its meanings. Please let's be fair in our discussions. Thank you.
