The title of this article should be “The Boston Fleece”. The mascot should be a lamb. And the guest speaker to lead them to slaughter was Craig Jensen. I used to look up to him. He kept me on the straight and narrow bridge with his pep talks and Hubbard business acumen. Fortunately he looks to be diminished in his capacity to inspire.

The huge crowd at the fundraising event was insipid. I for one will continue to work to expose its fraud and abuse. The ideal org money grabs are out and out fraud.

“The evening began with a show-stopping performance by a local rising Boston artist.”

So it began by stopping, you insult the artist by omitting their name and twice referring to them as local in the same sentence. Must have been awesome.

I noticed that too, but thought perhaps it was for the best that the "rising Boston artist," if she is not a Scientologist, doesn't have her name associated with the cult.

That was exactly my thought. Couldn't have anyone around a non-scientologist now could they?? She might spill the beans.

At what point does giving money to Scientology become “out-exchange?”

The 'exchange' is the fancy title they're given of 'Humanitarian' or 'New Civilization Builder' but a more appropriate title would be gullible sucker.

At the point where the victims of the mind-fuck perpetrated by the criminal organisation known as the "church" of $cientology start lying to themselves.

Pretty much from day 1, then...

Wow thanks. I know most of the old timers. They are in their 70's. I don't see their kids in the pics so I'm happy to say the future looks bleak for Scn Boston.

Accurate mascot is accurate: fully cooked.

Gosh. To think I used to be a part of that stupid world.

Don't kick yourself, Mary. I feel greatful you're no longer part of that 'stupid' world, and are here helping to expose the lies and deception from the truth. I've done stuff that was outrageously stupid, but I learned the best thing to do was to forgive myself--not an easy task. 💜

Even for Hubbard’s policy, this is obscene. And Hubbard was a con man. The difference is, he managed to package it in a way that it looked like a product. I counted 17 individuals in those photos. Where else could you go in a public place in Boston and only see 17 people?

The first thing that struck me about the group picture is it looks a lot like my 50th high school reunion, age-wise...

If the Boston Clams really need a mascot, they should use the Lemming. It appears that the Clampire has stampeded all the Lemmings off a financial cliff.

This is what happens when you award 'status' in an attempt to get the behavior that the scammer wants. What, no box tops or Green Stamps? No glasses inside of your detergent box? (all 1950's and early '60s promotion schemes). Yeah, give them a pin they can wear proudly or a bowling trophy. That will bring in the bucks....

This would be laughable if it weren't so frightening.

The 'Humanitarians' and 'New Civilization Builders' are the most obvious examples of fools parting with their money. It looked like there were about 50 people at the event which is likely close to the total number of active Scientology members in Boston. It's the same here in Toronto with far less active members remaining. It's been good seeing Scientology continually going downhill in recent years and it will be great when it fades away completely.

Tony, instead of you having a Group Therapy, all those "donor" who have been brainwashed into thinking they are funding humanity, not renovations or property purchases, need Group Therapy. How sad!!!
